It seems the tax deficit is being paid for by us, the taxpayers. We did not create the problems, destroy the economy nor bailout companies, which failed. Apparently, all government entities from Federal, State, County, City, Parish, and local want to squeeze every dollar from everyone they can.
We as a county must get back on track. However, to place this burden on the populace is unfair. So is life!
I believe in general, we taxpayers are willing to pay when we see our tax dollars being used for us, in our country, NOT overseas somewhere.
